My wife is a realtor, she is self employed. Our existing health insurance sent her a notice that her health insurance would be cancelled when it renews because they can no longer have single person (non Group) insurance because of "Afordable Health Care". For many years she and I were our own "group" with this same company, but I recently switched to Medicare because I turned 65 with suplemental coverage by the same company. She is 10 years younger than me so she must stay on private health care. The "spin" that I heard today is that this is happening because the "existing health care policy" is "not good", or "less than the quality required by AHC". Well, at least in our case, that couldn't be farfther from the truth. Our health care is Capital Health Plan, repeatedly voted one of the best in the entire USA. This is an 80/20 policy that covers everything, including maternity, hospitalization, perscription drugs, emergency services and preventive care. It is a top tier policy. The Washington AHC spin masters are wrong. This same thing is happening to some of our friends in circumstances similar to ours. Pleas add us to the people injured by ObamaCare.
